Worst Mother...

(Excuse the food on his face, took these 20 minutes after the accident, and he'd been munching on a banana and a cruskit).

Look at his nose and under his left eye.

Of The Year.

The result of him falling headfirst into a raised garden bed edging (wood).

Mr Samuel, about a week ago, discovered that he can stand. That he can pull himself up against furniture/walls/doors/draws/prams/bathtubs/legs/anything. He hasn't, however, clicked that if he whirls around suddenly, letting go (to laugh at his Daddy), he will fall. :(

This one was heartbreaking. The photos don't come even close to doing the bruising/lumps justice.

My poor baby.

  1. The Monkey refused to be anything but upright from the age of about 8 months. Unfortunately being teensy and not having the coordination of a 10 year old she was always sporting some bruise or otoher, always on her head and usually her face.

I have no advice - I seriously considered buying her a helmet at one stage.

  2. The helmet thing has been coming up every day for about 2 weeks now. And we're only half joking when we say it.

I know we're all busy, so the fact you've taken time out of your day to comment and connect with me means so much.
