An uninterrupted morning with your husband. In a bookstore. Joel has 2 days before he starts his new job. Today was our only child free one, so we left early and headed into Borders.
We drank Chai Lattes. I read Hemmingway and he poured over music theory. We held hands, snuggled into cushy leather seats, smiled over chocolate cake and barely said a word, barely needing to.
Pure bliss.
