Have you ever
Been transported back in time, instantly by a piece of music? My beautiful friends Trina and Pam sent me this link this evening. I've spent the last half hour letting it wash over me. I can practically smell my mother's shampoo, and feel my Dad's warm presence as my eyes close and I am 10 again.

Oh definately. A passage of music certainly can take me back, when I was in America on my holiday, I was travelling in our tour bus through Colorado and the song Wish You Were Here came on, by Pink Floyd. EVERYTIME I hear this song, I stop and can almost feel the atmosphere change to when I was in this part of the world. It truly amazes me....
ReplyDeleteYes, absolutely. I can suddenly be thrown back to moment, whether happy or sad, on hearing a particular song. Along with that comes all the realism of that moment. That is a beautiful piece of music.
