Paris Fashion Week so far. The Good, The Bad and the UUUUUgly.

It's Paris Fashion Week and the Spring/Summer 2011 Collections are up.  I've only seen a couple of them so far, I expect there will be more over the coming days.  My absolute favourite designer has been featured today though, so I confess I actually squealed when I head over to Simone's  beautiful blog.  But that one later.

Shall we start with the bad?   Dior.   Actually, I'm not sure that's fair.  I hated the first few pics I saw, but the concept started to grow on me.  You could kind of see they were trying to go back to a type of retro, old Hollywood glamour, which usually I love.  I've been a long time fan of John Galliano, so I was excited to see what he came up with.

A couple I really hated....

Then I realised he wasn't just sh!tting with me, and a few started to grow on me.

Soon enough (maybe it was the Ativan?), I found a couple I absolutely loved.  Of course, they're pretty safe and 'me', girlie and pretty, but there you are, that's what I love.

The Really, really, unspeakably Ugly.  I'm talking let-us-never-speak-of-it-again-ugly?  Armani Prive...

Is that a pocket?  Did she bust a seam?  What exactly is going on here?

No, no...I'm sure this wouldn't ever draw attention to my mammoth "child bearing" hips...

This looks suspiciously like that cheap holographic contact paper we used on Alexander's books last year. We hated it then too.  And if you look closely, I think something terrible is about to happen to her right breast...

WTF?  Seriously?

I almost liked this one.  Right up until I scrolled down and saw the..leggings?
