I was so disappointed to miss out on last week's weekend rewind, so am determined to get in this week. It's being hosted by Multiple Mum over at And Then There Were Four . The theme for this week is "Most Contraversial Post". I laughed a little. Kind of up my alley, no? An opinion on everything and a complete inability to remain silent about it.
So there was actually a bit to choose from. Do I go with my Slutwalk posts, which actually got included (excerpts) in overseas articles about Slutwalk? Certainly, it generated a lot of response. Do I go with the one that gets me the most 'search word' hits for a post on Kim K.ardashian (I'm putting the dot in there to stop some of those freaks coming back. Dude. So defensive! Seriously though. "Pl.ayboy and Kim K are the search terms I get a LOT of apparently. So flattering, can't imagine why they're not sticking around).
Instead, I chose one that got me REALLY fired up last year. It got me angry, and I joined a facebook group in support, then left the Facebook group because the man moderating (?) kept deleting every comment we made where we didn't throw our knickers at him.
My first post on it was here. There was a lot of attention at the time given to the post, both here, with emails and a few comments on the blog and my FB page. It was also featured on the group's FB page as well.
There were two follow-ups, here and here if you are interested. I don't even know if that FB group still exists. I've not been back since that day.

Righteous rants indeed. That woman is an idiot. Wish Sunrise would stop stroking her already inflated ego (which in my opinion is because she is the picture of an egomanic - in fact her picture should be beside the term).

I missed hearing about his when it originally happened. She is speaking out of ingnorance. It annoys me when someone with no credibility or informed knowledge gets to rant like that in public forum.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this on the weekend rewind. I hadn't heard of this before ... but that might have been because I was too busy with some son's therapy. What an ignorant woman. Why do they keep her on the air? I am just so angry.
