Joining up with the Weekend Rewind, which has travelled back to Multiple Mum's abode this week.
We were able to pick a post from any September. Which in itself was hard. September is our wedding anniversary, and also Sammy's birthday. So there were always going to be some favourites in there. I finally settled on September 2009.
It was actually one of the most horrific months of my life. My depression was absolutely at it's worst - my anxiety levels through the roof. I was suicidal and getting next to no help from the medical community, and less from the people around me.
There are a number of profound, important posts for me in September '09. It was difficult to pick one. But I did. I found one that was not so much sad, or black as it was beautiful. To me at least. A beautiful, treasured memory that like the flicker of a candle provides a spot of light in the darkest of places.
